About the Role:
A Knowledge Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accessibility, quality, and effectiveness of organizational processes and knowledge. This role involves capturing new knowledge, creating and maintaining processes, and leveraging analytics to measure impact and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Design and Improvement:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, document, and improve business and technology processes.
- Ensure alignment between business and technology processes.
- Utilize process modeling techniques to visualize and optimize workflows.
- Find areas for improvement by conducting process audits.
- Knowledge Management:
- Create, curate, and maintain a centralized knowledge base.
- Develop and implement knowledge management strategies to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Encourage a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze process and knowledge usage data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor performance and inform decision-making.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to employees on process and knowledge management tools and best practices.
- Assist users in finding and utilizing relevant information.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in process modeling and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
- Experience with knowledge management tools and techniques
- Capacity to function both individually and collaboratively
- Detail-oriented and organized
