I Gave It Everything… Until One Sentence Changed My Life

I am tired.

Not because the journey was difficult, but because I gave it everything I had.

  • I was committed.
  • I was focused.
  • It was my highest and most critical priority.
  • I placed it above my health.
  • I placed it above my family.
  • For me, it became everything.

I never looked at the clock.
Time never mattered when the purpose felt meaningful.

Its growth was my happiness.
Every milestone felt like a personal victory.

I didn’t just participate in it —
I lived it, breathed it, and felt it every single day.

Even during weekends, I would miss the environment and the energy around it.

Over time, the connections grew deeper.
I believed I had built something more than just relationships.

I believed I had built an extended family.

And when I was told that I was part of that family,
I believed it.

  • Today, I feel shattered.
  • I still cannot believe what has happened.
  • Sleep has become difficult.
  • The nights feel longer than ever.
  • Sometimes I wake up suddenly, overwhelmed by panic and anxiety.
  • I am not only worried — I am deeply stressed and emotionally exhausted.

There are moments when it feels like I am living in a virtual world of disbelief, where the mind refuses to accept reality.

Sometimes my breathing even feels heavy, as if the weight of everything is pressing down on me.

And questions keep repeating in my mind.

  • Why did this happen?
  • Was my commitment meaningless?
  • Why was I given hope, if the ending was already written?
  • Is success measured only by numbers and financial outcomes, while human effort becomes invisible?

I gave my time.
I gave my energy.
I gave a part of my life.

And in the end, after everything I believed in, everything I built, and everything I sacrificed—

I was simply told that it was about profitability… and economics. And just like that, I was fired.
