Job Summary
We are looking for Full Stack Developers to support our client’s technology projects in India. The role requires hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development and Next.js for building modern frontend applications.
The selected resource will work on web applications, RESTful APIs and database-driven systems. The person should be comfortable working across both frontend and backend components and collaborating with different teams to convert business requirements into practical technical solutions.
This is a remote opportunity. Resources may be engaged on a full-time, part-time or contractual basis depending on project requirements and availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using Node.js for backend development and Next.js for frontend development.
- Build responsive and reliable applications with attention to performance and usability.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements for the solution to be developed.
- Design, develop and integrate secure and efficient RESTful APIs.
- Work with MongoDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases based on application requirements.
- Review and improve database queries and application performance where required.
- Use Git for source code management, version control and collaboration.
- Work with other developers and stakeholders during development, testing and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to improving application stability and maintainability.
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Node.js for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js for frontend development.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and practices for modern web development.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Git for source code management and collaboration.
- Well versed with the architecture both – frontend and backend.
- Familiar with database management and query optimisation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve web application issues.
Required Skills
- Relevant hands-on experience in full stack or web application development.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work standalone as well as a team member.
- Willingness to learn and work with changing technologies and project requirements.
AI Experience
Experience with AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, documentation or developer productivity may be useful. This is not a mandatory requirement.
Managerial Experience
Not Mandatory. This is primarily an individual contributor role. Previous team-handling experience is not required. The candidate should be comfortable collaborating with developers, business teams and other project stakeholders.
Operational Experience
- Experience working on frontend and backend components of web applications.
- Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Experience using version control as part of a collaborative development workflow.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and manage assigned development tasks within agreed timelines.
Qualifications
- Any Graduate with relevant experience in web or full stack development may be considered.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field will be an advantage.
- Relevant practical experience and demonstrated technical skills will be given due consideration.
Certifications
Relevant certifications in JavaScript, Node.js, cloud technologies or web development may be an advantage but are not mandatory.
Experience
1 to 4 hands-on experience in Node.js, Next.js or full stack web development is required. The experience requirement may vary depending on the client project.
