Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain WordPress websites
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
- Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress
- Integrate and configure plugins such as WooCommerce, WPML, and membership tools
- Optimize website performance, speed, and overall functionality
- Apply SEO and conversion optimization best practices
- Convert design files (PSD/Figma) into responsive HTML5/CSS3 templates
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug issues across websites
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong understanding of the WordPress platform and its architecture
- Hands-on experience in custom theme and plugin development
- Knowledge of plugin integration (WooCommerce, WPML, Membership plugins, etc.)
- Ability to create user-friendly and manageable admin panels
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and AJAX
- Experience with website performance optimization
- Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and learn quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in WordPress development
- Experience with platforms like Shopify and Magento is an advantage
