Primary Objective: As a Business Analyst – Financial Domain, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business and technology. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand their financial requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications for the development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Elicit and document detailed functional requirements from business stakeholders, focusing on financial processes, ledger entries, and other related areas.
- Process Analysis: Analyze existing financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions.
- Technical Specification: Create clear and concise technical specifications that can be easily understood by the development team.
- Scrum Participation: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, key performance indicators, and financial metrics.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, effectively communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the financial domain.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Competence with Jira, Confluence, and other project management software.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, both in writing and speaking.
- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Familiarity with Agile approaches, particularly Scrum.
