Our client is looking to onboard a Data Analytics Developer across multiple locations in India for a remote/hybrid role that can be offered on a full-time or contractual basis, depending on the candidate’s preference and eligibility.
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Data Analytics Developer with strong expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and large-scale data processing. In this role, you will transform raw platform and consumer data into meaningful business insights, build scalable data pipelines, apply machine learning techniques, and support AI, product, and content teams with actionable analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of content and consumer data.
- Analyze views, watch time, engagement, catalog, and metadata from digital platforms.
- Apply machine learning techniques to identify trends, user segments, and predictive insights.
- Develop forecasting models for content and business performance.
- Work with platform APIs and internal data sources to collect, clean, and transform raw datasets.
- Design efficient data models for reporting and business decision-making.
- Collaborate with AI, Product, and Content teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Optimize SQL queries and warehouse operations for analytical workloads.
- Maintain data quality, integrity, and documentation across analytics projects.
- Continuously improve analytics workflows using modern ML and data engineering practices.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Knowledge of Jupyter Notebook for data analysis.
- Experience with XGBoost or LightGBM.
- Familiarity with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of data visualization and analytical reporting.
- Knowledge of API integration and data extraction.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
AI & Data Analytics Experience
- Hands-on experience analyzing consumer, media, or content platform data.
- Practical experience with machine learning algorithms including regression, classification, clustering, and forecasting.
- Experience working with large datasets and converting raw data into meaningful insights.
- Strong understanding of engagement metrics including views, watch time, and user interactions.
- Experience building predictive models for business intelligence.
- Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and data science workflows.
Managerial Experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical analytics solutions.
- Present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work independently while managing multiple analytics projects.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Operational Experience
- Experience developing scalable ETL and data processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms and data warehouses.
- Experience optimizing SQL queries for performance.
- Knowledge of data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Experience deploying and maintaining ML-based analytical solutions.
- Understanding of data governance and best practices.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
- Experience working with content, media, consumer internet, or platform analytics is preferred.
- Google Professional Data Engineer (Preferred)
- Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate (Preferred)
- Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer (Preferred)
- Databricks Data Engineer Certification (Preferred)
