Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade data center architecture solutions.
- Identify and Classify infrastructure standards, governance models, and architecture roadmaps.
- Develop scalable compute, storage, networking, and virtualization architectures.
- Lead data center modernization and migration initiatives.
- Create high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware platforms, storage systems, and network technologies.
- Collaborate with cloud architects to integrate hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Improve and Optimize data center performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure infrastructure designs comply with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership for infrastructure transformation projects.
- Conduct architecture reviews and capacity planning assessments.
- Work in collaboration with infrastructure, security, operations, and application teams.
- Support automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code and orchestration tools.
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment standards.
- Mentor engineering teams on best practices related to enterprise infrastructure design.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in enterprise data center architecture.
- Experience designing large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Deep understanding of compute, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including routing, switching, VLANs, and load balancing.
- Strong understanding of capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Experience with data center migration and consolidation projects.
- Familiarity with infrastructure security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and solution design skills.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (M.Tech, MCA, MBA in IT, or related discipline) is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect, TOGAF, or Data Center Design Certifications are highly desirable.
