Role & Responsibilities
- Set goals for the overall system and break them into sub-goals as an Openstack engineer to ensure the dependability, performance, and availability of complex software systems and services in a production environment.
- Direct, inspire, persuade, and mentor the architects on subsystems to assist them make improvements quickly and nimbly.
- Determine the performance bottleneck and devise a solution to optimize the build/test system’s time and cost.
- Act as a thought leader in helping to resolve the trade-off between turnaround time and utilization by contributing to the capacity planning for hardware and software across internal and public clouds.
- Introduce technology that allow for massively parallel systems to increase turnaround times by a factor of ten.

Critical Skills to Have:
- A strong feeling of drive, urgency, and ownership. To be a successful member of the development team, you will require the following abilities.
- Four or more years of EE/CS experience, such as a BS, BE, B.Tech, or equivalent.
- Setting up and debugging OpenStack services such as Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Cinder, and so forth.
- Setting up and debugging CEPh services, such as dashboard, MGR, OSDS, and Mon.
- Solid experience designing and delivering scalable, distributed software products, along with a solid grasp of system programming.
- A strong foundation in cloud technologies, such as Ansible, Docker, and OpenStack, is essential.
- Outstanding comprehension of edge computing, hybrid, and multi-cloud architecture.
- Capacity to locate the bottleneck and devise an optimized solution.
- Shell script and Python programming and software development abilities
- Outstanding familiarity and proficiency with virtual machines and Docker containers.
- Capability to collaborate across organizational boundaries in an efficient manner to increase team productivity and alignment.
- The capability and adaptability to collaborate and communicate successfully in a multinational, multi-time zone corporate environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in business information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline.
