Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer / ERP Oracle Technical Consultant with 6+ years of experience in Oracle ERP technical development. The role focuses on designing, developing, integrating, customizing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Oracle ERP applications and related technical solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX, ERP integrations, interfaces, reports, workflows, APIs, and technical customizations. Preference would be given to Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze functional requirements and develop Oracle ERP technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Design, develop, and customize Oracle ERP applications to meet defined business and project requirements.
- Build and support technical components, including interfaces, reports, conversions, extensions, and workflows.
- Build and manage interfaces between Oracle ERP and external applications to enable seamless data exchange.
- Utilize Oracle APIs, web services, database objects, and integration frameworks to support enterprise application requirements.
- Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL programs, queries, procedures, packages, and functions.
- Investigate application issues, conduct detailed root-cause analysis, and apply effective corrective and preventive solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate Oracle ERP application performance, identifying areas for optimization, tuning, and technical enhancement.
- Support end-to-end testing and release activities, including SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, development specifications, solution documentation, and related technical artifacts.
- Engage with functional consultants and key stakeholders to analyze requirements, define technical approaches, and deliver Oracle ERP solutions.
- Leverage Oracle technologies, frameworks, APIs, and established development practices to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Support the ERP implementation and application support lifecycle as required.
- Collaborate with technical and functional stakeholders in Agile development environments.
Required Technical Skills
- 6+ years of overall professional experience.
- Extensive practical experience delivering technical solutions within Oracle ERP environments.
- Solid technical expertise in Oracle Database, Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL development.
- Experience with Oracle ERP integrations and interfaces.
- Proven ability to work across Oracle reporting, workflow automation, API development, and application-level customizations.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Practical experience improving the performance and efficiency of Oracle ERP applications and database programs.
- Understanding of ERP solution delivery across implementation, testing, deployment, production support, and maintenance phases.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS).
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Exposure to BI Publisher and OTBI.
- Experience with third-party integrations and enterprise interfaces.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong technical documentation and solution design experience.
AI Experience
AI experience is not a prime requirement for this role. Familiarity with AI-assisted development or enterprise AI capabilities may be considered an added advantage where relevant to Oracle ERP modernization and support activities.
Managerial Experience
This is primarily a senior technical individual-contributor role. Direct people-management responsibility is not specified. The position requires technical ownership, solution design capability, stakeholder coordination, and close collaboration with functional and business teams.
Operational Experience
Experience across the Oracle ERP implementation and support lifecycle, including development, integration, SIT, UAT, deployment, production support, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and technical documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. UG: Any Graduate. PG: Any Postgraduate, with relevant technical education preferred.
Certifications
Preferred certifications include Oracle Database SQL / PL/SQL certification and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or Oracle Fusion Cloud-related certification. Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
6+ years of overall professional experience with strong Oracle ERP technical development experience.
