Job Summary
We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. The role combines strong Java backend development with React-based frontend development, Node.js services, and MongoDB.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across backend, frontend, API, and database layers, applying sound software engineering principles, solving complex technical problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
- Build, enhance, and maintain robust backend services and REST APIs using Java and modern Java-based frameworks.
- Develop responsive and reusable user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript practices.
- Develop or integrate Node.js services and APIs where required by the application architecture.
- Design and work with MongoDB data models, collections, queries, indexes, and database operations.
- Apply data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles to solve technical problems.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate frontend, backend, and database components.
- Debug application issues across frontend, backend, API, and database layers and identify root causes.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests to maintain application quality and reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps professionals, and other cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to application architecture, technical design, documentation, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
Required Technical Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in Java development and designing scalable enterprise application solutions.
- Strong proficiency in React for developing and enhancing modern frontend applications.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js for backend services, APIs, or application integration.
- Strong experience with MongoDB, including data modeling, queries, indexing, and performance considerations.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and preferably TypeScript.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms with a strong foundation in software development concepts.
- Experience with software design, application architecture, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience managing code repositories, branching, and version control workflows using Git or similar platforms.
- Ability to work effectively across frontend, backend, API, and database layers.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, or related Java frameworks.
- Experience with React ecosystem tools and state management libraries.
- Experience with Express.js or comparable Node.js frameworks.
- Experience with MongoDB Atlas or cloud-hosted MongoDB environments.
- Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployment practices.
- Experience with microservices or distributed application architectures.
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks and CI practices to support reliable and efficient software delivery.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE Developer and MongoDB Associate Developer certification are preferred but not mandatory.
AI Experience
AI experience is not prime requirement for this role. Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and using AI to support coding, debugging, testing, or documentation may be considered an advantage.
Managerial Experience
This is primarily a technical individual-contributor role. Direct people-management responsibility is not required. The developer is expected to take ownership of assigned technical work and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Operational Experience
Experience across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, application design, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, deployment support, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
Qualifications
UG: Any Graduate.
A degree or equivalent educational background in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Certifications
Preferred certifications include:
• Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE Developer
• MongoDB Associate Developer Certification
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate (preferred for candidates working with cloud-based applications)
Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
