Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform application code conversion to ensure compatibility between Sybase and MS SQL environments
- Work primarily on a Perl-based codebase, with portions being migrated to Python
- Apply strong Perl programming expertise to maintain, enhance, and optimize code for performance and stability
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Perl development (strong hands-on expertise required)
- Solid understanding of Python and T-SQL / SQL Server
- Familiarity with ADO, Git, and release management workflows
- Preferred (Nice to Have): Experience with monitoring/alerting and automation tools
