Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP.
- Build secure, high-performance backend systems and business logic.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Backend Development & API Integration
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication services, and external systems.
- Develop reusable backend modules and service-oriented architectures.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and secure API communication.
- Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability.
Database Management
- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases using MySQL or MariaDB.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.
- Ensure database normalization, integrity, and consistency.
- Optimize database performance through indexing and query tuning.
- Implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Application Maintenance & Performance Optimization
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Monitor application health and improve overall system performance.
- Optimize application speed, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Implement caching strategies to improve application responsiveness.
- Upgrade existing applications with new features and enhancements.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality.

- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify bugs and implement effective fixes.
- Ensure applications meet quality, reliability, and security requirements.
Security & Compliance
- Implement secure coding practices to prevent application vulnerabilities.
- Protect applications against SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), and other common security threats.
- Conduct regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.

Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with frontend developers, designers, QA engineers, and project managers.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development guides.
