Job Summary
We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer with a strong database focus to work on enterprise platforms and established products. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing database-driven components using Oracle and PL/SQL.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle database objects and PL/SQL components.
- Perform enhancements, fixes, and maintenance activities across existing enterprise and heritage products.
- Analyze database structures, stored procedures, triggers, and complex SQL queries to support application improvements.
- Apply database performance-tuning concepts and collaborate with DBAs to resolve performance issues.
- Understand existing codebases and database dependencies before implementing changes while maintaining system stability.
- Troubleshoot production and application issues, identify underlying causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures and other PL/SQL components according to project requirements.
- Apply consistent coding, documentation, and development standards throughout the software lifecycle.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, QA, database, and operations teams to deliver and maintain reliable solutions.

Preferred Technical Skills
- Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and willingness to learn and work with Oracle.
- Oracle 11g
- UNIX / Linux shell scripting
- Experience with legacy or heritage enterprise applications
- Work with DBAs to troubleshoot performance problems and resolve issues in production environments.
AI Experience
AI experience is not a core requirement. Familiarity with AI-assisted development or code-analysis tools may be useful but is optional.
Managerial Experience
No formal people-management responsibility is required. Effective cross-functional collaboration is expected.
Operational Experience
- Production troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Root-cause analysis
- Database maintenance and enhancement support
- Performance tuning with DBA teams
- Working with established enterprise systems
Qualifications
Any Graduate. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Certifications
Preferred, but not mandatory:
- Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
- Oracle Database PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional
Experience
3–9 years of overall experience, with strong relevant experience in Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
