We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. As a Senior Python Developer, you will take ownership of the complete software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and system design to development, testing, deployment, and production support. You will collaborate with product managers, DevOps engineers, frontend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, cloud-native applications that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and production-ready application components.
- Implement clean architecture and software engineering best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Configure and manage services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, and KMS.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate cloud deployments.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure application availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
API & Microservices
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise services.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
- Build asynchronous processing workflows and event-driven applications.
- Ensure API security, scalability, and performance optimization.
Database Development
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas.
- Develop efficient SQL queries and indexing strategies.
- Manage MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and DynamoDB databases.
- Implement caching mechanisms to improve application performance.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security.
DevOps & Automation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
- Automate deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor applications using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
- Support production deployments and release management activities.
Software Quality & Security
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and automated test cases.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement secure coding practices aligned with OWASP guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security and quality standards.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and frontend developers.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Estimate development tasks and contribute to Agile sprint planning.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend engineering improvements.
