Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with 6–11 years of experience to support our client in India. The role focuses on designing, building, automating, and optimizing enterprise cloud solutions on AWS. Along with cloud infrastructure, the position involves backend development using TypeScript, distributed systems, Redis/Valkey, DynamoDB, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and administer AWS IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
- Automate cloud infrastructure and deployments using AWS CloudFormation, Lambda, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure and support cloud migration initiatives.
- Support and troubleshoot applications hosted on AWS.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using TypeScript.
- Design and work with microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Work with AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Develop and maintain solutions involving Redis/Valkey and DynamoDB.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure delivery.
- Containerize applications using Docker and apply best practices for deployment and runtime management.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize distributed cloud systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to improve cloud reliability, automation, and application performance.
Required Technical Skills
- 6–11 years of overall cloud, DevOps, software engineering, or enterprise technology experience.
- 3+ years of experience building or migrating AWS infrastructure.
- 5+ years of hands-on TypeScript development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of Redis/Valkey and DynamoDB.
- Experience with AWS IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
- Experience with CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Experience with microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud monitoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for AWS-hosted applications and distributed systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Lua scripting.
- Experience with Twilio integrations.
- Exposure to FastAPI.
- Exposure to Zod or Pydantic frameworks.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale distributed cloud environments.
AI Experience
AI experience is not essential for this role. The source requirements focus on AWS cloud, DevOps, backend development, distributed systems, and data services.
Managerial Experience
Formal people-management experience is not specified as mandatory. Take strong technical ownership while working closely with cloud, backend, and engineering teams.
Operational Experience
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting applications running in AWS environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation and migration.
- Experience monitoring and optimizing distributed systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
