We are a talent acquisition and staff augmentation firm, and we are currently hiring on behalf of one of our clients. Our client is looking to onboard a Full Stack Web Developer across multiple locations in India for a remote/hybrid role that can be offered on a full-time, part-time, or contractual basis, depending on the candidate’s preference and eligibility.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Web Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to work on our client’s web projects. The ideal candidate is someone who can independently build and manage websites and web applications end to end — from writing custom frontend and backend code to handling hosting, servers, databases, and deployments.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who can independently own a website or web-application project from start to finish, whether it’s on WordPress, Shopify, or built entirely from scratch.
- Full Stack Developer with strong understanding of both frontend and backend development.
- A track record of writing custom code rather than depending purely on drag-and-drop page builders.
- Well versed in working with servers, hosting environments, databases, APIs, and deployment pipelines.
- Can work across Shopify, WordPress, Laravel, React, and custom-built platforms as per need of the projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Build fully custom websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, React, Node.js, and other modern frameworks.
- Develop search engines optimized websites and applications that are responsive, fast-loading.
- Design and customize Shopify themes, apps, and integrations as required by the project.
- Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and other CMS-based solutions.
- Create custom admin panels, dashboards, and content management systems from the ground up.
- Set up and manage hosting environments.
- Configure and maintain databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and manage deployment workflows.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRMs, and automation tools into client projects.
- Work on improving site performance, Core Web Vitals, security, and overall scalability.
- Work closely with designers and stakeholders to turn UI/UX concepts into working websites.
- Maintain clear code documentation and follow good development practices.
Technical Skills Required
Frontend
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS, React.js
Backend
- Node.js, PHP, Laravel, REST APIs and authentication systems
CMS & Platforms
- Shopify (Liquid), WordPress, Custom CMS development.
Server & Hosting
- Hosting control panels (e.g., hPanel, cPanel), VPS/cloud server setup, DNS & SSL configuration, Cloudflare/CDN setup, Database configuration and optimization
Tools & Workflow
- Git/GitHub, deployment pipelines, Debugging and performance optimization, Basic SEO knowledge.
Good to Have
- Insight of scalable architecture and security best practices.
- Prior experience building React-based frontend systems.
- A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing live or custom-built projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- B.Tech / BE / BCA / MCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science or IT) or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates must have completed a minimum of 15 years of uninterrupted full-time education.
