Job Summary
The IT Event Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and measuring the effectiveness of all IT-related events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer events. This role requires a highly organized and results-oriented individual with a passion for creating engaging and impactful event experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT industry and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with event organizers and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive event marketing plans for all IT-related events.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including budget management, vendor selection, venue sourcing, and on-site execution.
- Develop compelling event messaging and creative materials, such as booth graphics, presentations, and giveaways.
- Manage lead generation and capture at events, including lead qualification and follow-up.
- Track, analyze, and report on the ROI of all events, identifying key metrics and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with event organizers, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in event marketing and the IT industry.
- Manage and mentor junior event marketing team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in event marketing, preferably in the IT industry.
- Proven experience in planning and executing successful trade shows, conferences, and other events.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Budget management and negotiation skills.
- Experience with event registration and management software is a plus.
- Passion for technology and a strong interest in the IT industry.
