Job Summary
The IT Marketing Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on marketing data to measure the effectiveness of IT marketing campaigns. This role requires a data-driven individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data analysis tools and have a strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize marketing data from various sources, including website analytics, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and social media platforms.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance, including website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and ROI.
- Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborate with marketing managers and other stakeholders to identify data needs and develop reporting requirements.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in marketing analytics and data visualization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
