We help companies staff up quickly, and right now we’re recruiting for a client of ours in the manufacturing and industrial equipment space. They need a Salesforce Sales Cloud Developer, and they’re flexible on structure — full-time, part-time, or contract. This is a remote role.
Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Salesforce Sales Cloud Developer to help build solutions that make sales processes sharper and operations more efficient. You’ll be working across Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, wiring Salesforce up to external systems, and generally making sure the platform actually works the way the sales team needs it to.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions as per business requirements.
- Create and enhance Salesforce applications based on business needs, using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Connect Salesforce with external applications and systems to enable smooth data exchange through REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
- Customize and fine-tune Salesforce features, including workflows, Process Builder, validation rules, and other automation processes, to support efficient business operations.
- Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend the right approach.
- Keep data clean and consistent through solid data management practices.
- Write clear technical documentation for whatever you build.
- Run unit tests and fix issues before they become bigger problems.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, customization, and configuration.
- Strong practical knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL, with the ability to use these technologies to build effective Salesforce solutions.
- Hands-on experience in developing and building solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud features and how they fit together.
- Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft or Informatica, along with Salesforce APIs.
- Good problem-solving instincts and comfort working across cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, including direct experience working with clients.
AI Experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics or other AI-driven Salesforce features is a plus.
- Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools to speed up development, though not mandatory for this role.
Managerial Experience
- This is an Individual role.
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape solutions.
Operational Experience
- Experience delivering and documenting production-ready Salesforce solutions.
- Track record of running unit tests and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Familiarity with maintaining data quality and integrity across Salesforce implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant Salesforce development and customization experience.
Certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (preferred).
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant certification (preferred).
Good to Have
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Git and Jenkins.
- Experience working in Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of Salesforce CPQ and Einstein Analytics.
