Job Summary
The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing a successful channel sales strategy to drive revenue growth through partnerships with distributors, resellers, and other channel partners. This role requires a strong understanding of the IT market, channel sales best practices, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in channel sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, and manage a network of channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies and programs to drive partner recruitment and enablement.
- Provide partners with the necessary training, resources, and support to successfully sell and market our products and services.
- Track and analyze channel sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partner contacts.
- Negotiate and manage partner agreements, including pricing, incentives, and territories.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network with potential partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to support channel sales initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the IT industry.
- Proven track record of success in recruiting, developing, and managing channel partners.
- Strong understanding of the IT market and channel sales best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
