Job Summary
The Cloud Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling cloud-based solutions (e.g., SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) to new and existing customers. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong ability to build relationships and close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories or accounts.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to effectively position cloud solutions to prospective customers.
- Conduct needs assessments and solution demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of cloud solutions.
- Negotiate and close deals with customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in cloud computing and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with other sales, marketing, and technical teams to achieve sales goals.
- Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activities, manage leads, and forecast sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in selling cloud-based solutions (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is essential.
