We are seeking a highly accomplished Gen AI Solution Architect – Azure to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions leveraging the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role is ideal for an experienced technology leader with a strong background in AI/ML architecture, cloud-native platforms, enterprise systems, and modern software engineering practices.
As a key member of the technology leadership team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, product leaders, data scientists, and engineering teams to build innovative AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions. You will be responsible for defining AI architecture strategies, establishing governance standards, and driving the adoption of Generative AI technologies across enterprise environments.
The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, technical expertise, and hands-on architecture experience to deliver scalable, secure, and business-focused AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
AI Architecture & Strategy
- Design and architect enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions using Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native technologies.
- Define AI architecture roadmaps, technology standards, and implementation frameworks aligned with business objectives.
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture activities, including requirement analysis, system design, deployment planning, and performance optimization.
- Establish architecture best practices, governance models, security controls, and responsible AI frameworks.
- Develop scalable and reusable AI solution patterns for enterprise-wide adoption.
Generative AI & Advanced AI Solutions
- Design and implement AI applications powered by Azure OpenAI Service and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to enhance contextual intelligence and knowledge retrieval.
- Develop strategies for prompt engineering, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, and AI agents.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to continuously improve enterprise AI capabilities.
- Drive innovation through AI-powered automation, intelligent assistants, and business process transformation initiatives.
Cloud & Enterprise Solution Design
- Build highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native AI platforms on Microsoft Azure.
- Design distributed architectures utilizing microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration frameworks.
- Optimize solution performance, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to ensure alignment with enterprise cloud standards.
- Support modernization programs by integrating AI capabilities into existing business applications and platforms.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Partner with business leaders and technical stakeholders to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
- Provide architectural leadership and technical mentorship to engineering and development teams.
- Lead design reviews, proof-of-concept initiatives, architecture governance sessions, and technology evaluations.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, product management, and operations teams throughout project lifecycles.
- Drive adoption of AI engineering best practices across the organization.
Security, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure AI solutions adhere to enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
- Implement responsible AI principles, governance controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Establish monitoring and auditing frameworks to ensure transparency and accountability in AI systems.
- Support regulatory compliance and ethical AI implementation across enterprise environments.
