About the Salesforce Developer Role
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and enhancing Salesforce applications that support critical business operations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, Salesforce administrators, architects, and technical teams to deliver innovative Salesforce solutions.
This Salesforce Developer position requires expertise in Apex development, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce platform development, API integrations, workflow automation, and Salesforce security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Application Development
- Create, enhance, and manage custom Salesforce-based applications, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions aligned with organizational needs.
- Build scalable and secure Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning technologies.
- Develop reusable components and optimize application performance.
Lightning Web Components (LWC) Development
- Design and develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) for modern Salesforce user experiences.
- Build and maintain Aura Components where required.
- Enhance Salesforce Lightning applications through custom development and configuration.
- Ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces across Salesforce environments.
Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Development
- Develop, Implement and Customize Sales Cloud and Service Cloud features, ensuring seamless alignment with business workflows and customer engagement goals.
- Develop Salesforce solutions that improve customer engagement, sales processes, and service operations.
- Support CRM transformation initiatives using Salesforce technologies.
- Optimize workflows and automation within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.
Salesforce Integration and API Development
- Develop integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain REST API and SOAP API integrations.
- Work with middleware and integration platforms to connect Salesforce with external systems.
- Ensure secure and reliable data exchange across platforms.
Salesforce Automation and Configuration
- Create Flows, Workflow Rules, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, and Process Automation solutions.
- Automate business processes using Salesforce best practices.
- Improve operational efficiency through intelligent workflow design.
- Support platform enhancements and continuous process improvements.
Testing, Deployment, and Support
- Perform unit testing, system testing, debugging, and code reviews.
- Actively take part in Salesforce release management and deployment activities.
- Support production environments and troubleshoot application issues.
- Maintain high-quality coding standards and documentation.
Security and Compliance
- Implement Salesforce security best practices.
- Manage profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and access controls.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and platform governance requirements are met.
- Support audit and compliance initiatives when required.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Engineer, or Salesforce Consultant.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Apex programming.
- 6+ years of experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- 6+ years of experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Strong expertise in SOQL and SOSL.
- Experience building REST API and SOAP API integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning Platform architecture.
- Experience developing scalable CRM applications and enterprise Salesforce solutions.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
- Candidates with a Salesforce Platform Developer II credential will be given preference.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), or related domains is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience working with integration solutions such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or comparable enterprise integration platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe development methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps practices and Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with enterprise application integration strategies.
- Experience supporting large-scale Salesforce implementations.
