As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing modern DevOps ecosystems using AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation frameworks. You will collaborate closely with software engineering, security, cloud operations, and platform teams to build resilient, secure, and highly available infrastructure that supports large-scale business applications.
The role requires deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, containerized environments, monitoring solutions, infrastructure automation, release engineering, and site reliability practices. You will also mentor junior engineers, establish DevOps best practices, and contribute to cloud transformation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Platform Engineering
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and related platforms.
- Develop automated deployment strategies that support high-availability and large-scale application environments.
- Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Lead Kubernetes cluster administration, upgrades, scaling, security, and operational management.
- Design cloud-native deployment architectures for mission-critical applications.
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
- Architect, deploy, and manage infrastructure across AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation frameworks.
- Automate provisioning, deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency, performance, scalability, and security.
- Drive cloud modernization and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Monitoring, Reliability & Performance
- Establish monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack, and related technologies.
- Implement proactive monitoring strategies to ensure infrastructure availability and reliability.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive solutions.
- Define service reliability standards, performance metrics, and operational best practices.
- Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Security & Compliance
- Implement DevSecOps practices across deployment pipelines and cloud environments.
- Manage identity, access control, security policies, and cloud governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and industry regulations.
- Conduct infrastructure security assessments and vulnerability remediation activities.
- Integrate security automation within CI/CD workflows.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with software development, QA, cloud operations, and security teams to streamline delivery processes.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers and support technical skill development across teams.
- Lead architecture reviews and recommend improvements to deployment and infrastructure strategies.
- Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment standards.
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices throughout the organization.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization.
- Advanced experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and version control systems.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration platforms.
- Deep understanding of AWS services including EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and related cloud services.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services including AKS, Virtual Networks, Azure DevOps, and monitoring solutions.
