We are a talent acquisition and staff augmentation firm, and we are currently hiring on behalf of one of our clients, an enterprise organization in the insurance and customer experience technology space. Our client is looking to for Salesforce Experience Cloud Developers across multiple locations in Germany. This is a fully remote role which can be offered on a full-time, part-time, or contractual basis, depending on the candidate’s preference and eligibility.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer who can design, build, and maintain Experience Cloud (Community) sites, including the client’s online customer portal. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and customer-centric digital experiences on the Salesforce platform, and be prepared to showcase your work on customer-facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Developed and enhanced Salesforce Experience Cloud portals using LWR and LWC, improving the overall user experience for customer-facing digital platforms.
- Built custom LWCs, Apex classes, triggers, and Flows to deliver the features and functionality required for Salesforce Experience Cloud sites.
- Integrate Experience Cloud with Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other internal systems, such as Genesys Cloud, MuleSoft, and Hogan.
- Configure Experience Cloud Analytics to capture customer behavior and engagement data.
- Implement and manage security controls, including profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and OWD settings, per the client’s security standards.
- Worked closely with the Technical Review Board (TRB) to review application designs, address feedback, and secure permit-to-build approvals.
- Follow the client’s Salesforce design and code review standards for all development work.
- Support Agentforce agent integration within Experience Cloud sites.
- Solved issues with Platform Event triggers, handled governor limit challenges, and ensured data remained accurate and reliable even during high-volume processing.
- Create, Record and Save Unit tests with adequate code coverage.
- Pro-active member in sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, development experience in Experience Cloud, Apex, LWC, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in active Salesforce development in Experience Cloud (Communities).
- Expert and Skilled in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce Flows.
- Practice and effective working with Lightning Web Runtime (LWR) Experience Cloud sites.
- Solid grasp of the Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules).
- Experience working on customer-facing platforms, with an understanding of insurance or financial-services-related products and services a plus.
AI Experience
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce and Einstein AI features is an added advantage.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools to speed up code review, testing, or documentation is a plus, though not mandatory.
Managerial Experience
- This is primarily an individual contributor role; prior team-handling experience is not required.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting design decisions to a Technical Review Board or similar governance body.
Operational Experience
- Experience participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD-based deployments.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting platform event triggers, governor limits, and data integrity issues in high-volume, production environments.
- Track record of following structured design and code review standards within a regulated or compliance-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of overall Salesforce development experience, including 4+ years in Experience Cloud.
Certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification (good to have).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or additional Salesforce certification (good to have).
Good to Have
- Experienc Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud with Salesforce applications.
- Experience with Omni Studio (Flex Cards, OmniScripts).
- Knowledge of financial services or insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements.
